In relationships, the ESFP is generous, friendly, sympathetic, and affectionate. ESFPs are eager to please their partners and motivated to create a fun, harmonious, and active home. They often enjoy family life tremendously and typically prioritize socializing with loved ones above all else.
ESFPs tend to avoid conflict and may have trouble being serious, preferring to move on with their active lives rather than have an uncomfortable discussion. I was in foster care and this is for me. They may go where the wind blows and neglect to follow up on responsibilities. We have truly learned so much from each other and have helped each other grow in ways that would otherwise seem impossible to learn. Also, you guys tend to be overly concerned with hierarchy and seniority which comes from your auxiliary introverted sensing function , which can mean not heeding good advice if it comes from a so-called "underling. They also appreciate people who are hard to offend with criticism. They are characteristically spontaneous and usually dislike a structured lifestyle.
ESFPs tend to avoid conflict and may have trouble being serious, preferring to move on with their active lives rather than have an uncomfortable discussion. They are tuned into the needs of the people around them, but prefer to do something constructive to take care of their loved ones, rather than spend time hashing out difficult issues. ESFPs are supportive of their mates and try to take good care of their families, but can be impulsive as they pursue the pleasures of life.
They may go where the wind blows and neglect to follow up on responsibilities. They are characteristically spontaneous and usually dislike a structured lifestyle. ESFPs want a partner who supports them in their lifelong pursuit of fun and excitement. As parents, ESFPs are loving, affectionate, and fun, and usually like to have their households full of people having a good time. They may have many children, and are good at responding to their families' practical needs. ESFPs may be a bit unpredictable or scattered, and will prefer to engage everyone in a fun activity rather than impose rules or discipline.
They do not tend to take life seriously, and often consider it more important to provide excitement and fun than to create structure or stability for their children. People of the following types are more likely than most to share the ESFP's values, interests, and general approach to life. They won't necessarily agree on everything, and there's no guarantee they'll always get along, but they're more likely to feel an easy rapport and have plenty of things in common.
People of the following types are likely to strike the ESFP as similar in character, but with some key differences which may make them seem especially intriguing. The ESFP may find people of these types particularly interesting and attractive to get to know.
Relationships between ESFPs and these types should have a good balance of commonalities and opportunities to challenge one another. ESFPs may not feel an immediate connection with people of the following types, but on getting to know each other, they'll likely find they have some important things in common, as well as some things to teach one other.
Although people of these types may not attract the ESFP initially, their relationships present a lot of potential to complement and learn from one other. People of the following types present the most potential for personality clash and conflict with the ESFP, but also the best opportunities for growth.
go here Because people of these types have fundamentally different values and motivations from the ESFP's, initially, it may seem impossible to relate. But because they are so different, their strengths are the ESFP's weaknesses, and if they are able to develop a relationship, they can learn a tremendous amount from each other.
I finally found a site that described me to a T! It's my personality right down to the final detail! I finally have a reason to explain to my parents why I am the way I am, and why I want to dance and act for a living, not go into psychiatry!
Thanks you so much. It felt like someone is telling about me and now finally i have a reason to tell my parents about the way i am. I laughed out loud when I read your message. I have been working in psychiatry for 20 years but have always felt I should be dancing or acting. Follow your heart and perform with pride: I am ESFP and a recent psychology graduate. Quit dancing on a competitive level before going to college and now, i still keep dreaming of being an actress: D What would you suggest as someone wiser with more experiences in a working field than me? I enjoyed reading about my personality and character traits.
I agree with almost all of them. I'm an elementry school teacher who also enjoys landscape and interior design. Thank you this was fun! I can tell you what my husband did.
He is a ESFP and a successful attorney. I am an INTJ. While he was attending law school, he did not study independently as I always have. Instead he formed study groups with the guys. They would cram for tests and finals together, and what have you. He admits this was the key to his academic success. Forming a study group. I hope this helps. I wish you well in your studies as you harness your inner Sheldon. Oh my goodness this thing is cray!!! Its amazing how something like this works!!!
It is almost creepy! Its amazing that u described my personality and attitude straight on point!!! That is what really doubt me on these years!!!!
Thank you but still more info on facing specific situations and the ways of solving it for people with this personality becoz in my OP, the way i do things and others are somewhat different in a way. Hope u can solve that. I am so happy about this!! This describes me perfectly!! My mom wants me to be a lawyer but I want to be a singer and actor!! And this describes why!! I love how you not only described our life style but what kind of jobs that we are most like to take and how we are most like to be as parents!! I have always told everyone that I want at least 4 kids!!
It was very honest and accurate, had done a test before and got the same result, it was many years ago. I have had many occupations and all involved being in direct contact with the public and always recieved excellant reports from people I have been in contact with.
My managers were always happy with my reach to their customers and now I wish to write and achieve that goal I have wanted to write since I was a teenager, but felt I needed to experience life before I did so. This also is correct of the personality type. On with the next endevour. After the test I was reading it and thinking to myself omg I cannot believe this, this is everything that I do. And when I looked in the work section I saw what I wanted to do for a job there.
I was so happy. And the relationship part is so true. This is great ;. Really refreshing to find this and have a good read! This outline describes me well, I think I was off track and become something else. Okay, at first when i found out in was a esfp, i got dissapointed. Though its correct, i couldnt accept it. It didnt look very cool to me It hit me hard that i wasnt a thinker. ENTJs are obviously intuitive thinkers and that is the core and pride of their personality, so this is a fundamental incompatibility that will make it very hard to go beyond a platonic relationship into a deeper connection.
ENTJs like to resolve conflict by confronting the issue as soon as possible, having the future of the relationship in mind, but ESFPs are likely to ignore or escape conflict situations rather than face them.
These are two very different ways of dealing with conflict and might present another obstacle in this relationship. They also appreciate people who are hard to offend with criticism. Unfortunately ESFPs have an extreme dislike of criticism and are likely to take things extremely personally.
According to my male ENTJ friends, dating an ESFP would be purely based on sex, and once the sex wears away, there would be no basis for. ENTJ - ESFP relationships are often not very easy. ENTJs are obviously intuitive thinkers and that is the core and pride of their personality, so this Labels: compatibility, compatible, dating, hate, love, match, relationships, romance, spouse.
This causes all kinds of misunderstandings and makes this relationship hard. It just means that there is work involved here. If the ESFP comes to realize that criticism can be looked at constructively, rather than destructively and if the ENTJ makes an effort to be less critical and impersonal the relationship becomes much easier.
